How long does it take to receive my steering wheel? +
Custom steering wheels typically take 5–8 weeks to manufacture and ship. In-stock steering wheels usually ship within 7–10 business days.
Are Mintz steering wheels compatible with my factory airbag? +
Yes. Our steering wheels are designed for OEM-style fitment and are made to work with your vehicle’s original airbag and factory controls unless otherwise stated.
Will my factory buttons and features still work? +
Yes. Features such as steering wheel controls, paddle shifters, heating, vibration, and driver-assistance functions can generally be retained when supported by your original steering wheel and selected configuration.
Do you offer custom steering wheel designs? +
Yes. You can customize materials, stitching, center stripes, carbon fiber, Alcantara, leather, LED displays, and other options depending on your vehicle. If there is something you want but dont see on the configurator, contact us and we can make it happen.
Are your steering wheels real carbon fiber? +
Yes. When carbon fiber is selected, we use real carbon fiber, including options such as forged carbon depending on the configuration.
Do I need to send in my original steering wheel? +
No, Mintz steering wheels do not require you to send us your original wheel first.
Is professional installation required? +
We strongly recommend professional installation, especially because the steering wheel contains the vehicle’s airbag and electronic connections. You can book installation through us at checkout.
Do Mintz steering wheels come with a warranty? +
Yes. Mintz steering wheels are backed by a 1-year warranty covering eligible manufacturing defects.
Can I install LED shift lights on my steering wheel? +
Yes. LED shift lights are available on compatible steering wheels and can display information such as RPM, shift indicators, speed, and other vehicle data when properly connected.
What if I don’t see my vehicle listed? +
Contact Mintz Garage with your year, make, model, and a photo of your current steering wheel. We may be able to build a custom wheel for vehicles that are not currently listed on the website.
