Extended Warranty - Members Only
Welcome, Society member. Your membership includes Extended Protection on eligible Mintz parts you purchased while your membership is active. That means coverage beyond our Standard 6-month warranty for defects in materials and workmanship, plus priority handling—and when your part was installed by Mintz or an Approved Installer, Labor+ reimbursement up to $150 per approved claim.
What Your Extended Protection Covers
Your plan covers manufacturing defects on eligible Mintz-branded parts, including:

Stitching failures or seam separation

Leather delamination or abnormal material failure

Clear-coat defects on carbon segments

Mintz-supplied LED/PCB failures when installed to spec
If we confirm a covered defect, we’ll repair or replace the part with the same or comparable spec. If your install was performed by Mintz or an Approved Installer, member claims may include labor reimbursement up to $150 per approved claim.
What Isn’t Covered (quick list)
Normal wear (patina, Alcantara pile change), accidental damage, misuse, chemical/heat damage (e.g., harsh cleaners, sanitizer), water intrusion, improper installation or coding, unsupported third-party electronics, or damage from collisions/track incidents. OEM airbags/modules aren’t covered by this plan.
Care makes the difference. For best results, follow our Wheel Care tips (clean hands, microfiber wipe-downs, pH-balanced leather cleaner, gentle Alcantara brushing).
Eligibility & Term

Eligibility: Extended Protection applies to Mintz parts purchased while your Society membership is active.

Term: The term shown on your order/plan certificate (typically 24 or 36 months from delivery).

Transfer: Standard coverage may transfer once with proof of purchase; Extended Protection transfer depends on your plan certificate.
Labor Coverage (Members)

Installed by Mintz or an Approved Installer: eligible labor reimbursement up to $150 per approved claim.

Installed by a non-approved shop or DIY: parts coverage applies; labor is not included.
We don’t require you to use our installers to keep your warranty. We just add labor coverage when we can verify workmanship through Mintz or an Approved Installer.
How to File a Claim (fastest path)

Gather details: order number, vehicle year/make/model/trim, install location/date, clear photos/videos of the issue.

Submit the form below: include URLs to your photos (Google Drive, iCloud, etc.—public view or share to support@mintzgarage.com).

Review & next steps: we’ll respond within 3–5 business days with a decision or request for inspection/return. Approved resolutions include repair or replacement (and eligible labor reimbursement for member installs).
