Mintz Garage Merch: Wear Your Build
By Chris Kwaku Minta · October 27, 2025
Mintz Garage started with interiors, but the story doesn’t end at the steering wheel. Our new merch collection is for the moments when you’re not behind the wheel—early coffee runs, late shop nights, and weekend meets where a familiar badge across your chest says, “Yes, I actually drive it.” We designed everything with the same lens we use for our parts: materials first, details that hold up, and graphics that feel engineered rather than loud for the sake of it.
The tees are cut from soft, durable cotton with a weight that sits clean on the shoulders and resists twisting after wash. Hoodies are mid-to-heavyweight with a smooth exterior and a brushed interior that breaks in like your favorite seat bolsters. Embroidery is tight and flat, not fuzzy; prints are crisp with edges that don’t halo under light. We tested placements so the steering-wheel mark lands naturally—never squeezed under a seat belt—and our wordmark reads legibly from a few steps away without shouting from across the lot. Caps sit low-profile with a curved brim and a confident, wearable shape, while beanies are dense enough for winter garage sessions without feeling bulky.
Design-wise, this first drop keeps it timeless: monochrome logo pieces for daily rotation, a subtle center-line motif that nods to our wheels, and a limited “Cabin First” graphic that pairs line-art geometry with stitched-style accents. You’ll notice we favor embroidery and understated prints because the best pieces look good with anything—from a tech jacket to a detailer’s apron—and they won’t clash with the color you painted your calipers last week. Sizing runs true with a modern fit: structured at the shoulders, a clean body line, and enough length to stay put when you’re reaching into an engine bay.
Quality control matters here as much as it does on an installation. We pulled multiple samples, washed and dried them on regular settings, checked for colorfastness, measured shrink, and compared print and stitch integrity after wear. If you’ve ever had a graphic crack after one cycle, you’ll appreciate why we obsessed over inks, thread counts, and stitch density. We’d rather ship a smaller lineup we’re proud of than a big catalog that feels disposable.
Drops and availability will rotate. Some designs are evergreen and will restock; others are limited runs tied to platform launches and events. If a product page is tagged “Limited,” it’s exactly that—once it’s gone, it won’t return in the same color and spec. Members of Mintz Garage Society get early access windows, occasional member-only colorways, and install-credit bundles that pair a merch piece with service perks. That way, what you wear can actually move your build forward.
If you care for your parts, care for your pieces. Review our short Merch Care Guide for wash temps, drying tips, and storage best practices so your embroidery stays sharp and prints remain crisp. We’re not trying to sell museum pieces; these are made to be worn and to take the scuffs and stories that come with real use.
This collection is the first step in a longer plan. We’re developing track-day caps with moisture-wicking bands, pit-style zip hoodies with reinforced elbows, and premium work tees that breathe in summer and don’t bag out at the collar. As our platform coverage expands, expect subtle model cues—stitch patterns, perforation maps, and embossed marks—to make their way into special editions.
If Mintz Garage parts make your car feel more you, the merch lets the rest of your day catch up. Explore the full collection, pick your everyday staple, and if you’re the type who likes the rare spec, keep an eye on the Limited tag—or join the Society for early access.
